Print is Dead… Amazon Discontinues Kindle After 100 Million Downloads?

The Writing is on the Wall…

Kid’s Kindle Sales up 211%:

eBooks making 21% of Simon & Schuster:

Kindle surpasses Print Books in UK Too:

On top of all this Google just released their new Nexus 7 tablet. BAM.
The Webz are buzzing about Apple’s NEW sub $200 iPad. YES! (Finally)
Amazon just announced they SOLD OUT of 6.7 MILLION Kindle Fire tablets — and a NEW version is on it’s way, Y’ALL.

The tablet war is ON!

And, here’s the thing…
Anytime a new tablet is released epub sales DOUBLE.  Now, we’ve got THREE  leading companies dropping at the same time…
…So, eBooks consumption? Yeah – it’s about to explode!

Furthermore, according to a report published by the Association of American Publishers, ebook sales are now bringing in more revenue than hardcover books.

In fact Amazon sells 143 Kindle e-books for every 100 hardcover books.

Personally, I have worn out THREE Kindles and Amazon MUST have me on some special “Customer of the Century” list, cause WOW, I READ a LOT of books.

What’s crazy is I just found out that ebook sales account for over $1 billion in sales with an astounding 800% year-on-year increase. Now that’s a lot of percentages.

So, I have to ask – what is your plan to tap into the power of the Amazon Kindle?
To top it off recently the  Wall Street Journal reported
Amazon just surpassed 100,000,000 downloads of their
Kindle-exclusive ebooks (not counting all the other ebooks
they sell that you can find on, Google Play, iTunes
and more).

But they aren’t stopping there! All the online rumors point
to a discontinuation of the older Kindles.

In fact, just a few weeks ago, Amazon’s CEO announced they
are sold out of the Kindle Fire. That’s why, the world is
preparing for a huge release of the “Kindle Fire 2
happening next week at Amazon’s press event on 9/6.

And if that isn’t enough, Google just unveiled their own
awesome Android Nexus 7 tablet this week.

Oh, and Apple unveiled the iPhone 5 and
a hot new iPad Mini.

If you aren’t salivating yet, consider this…

The Consumer Electronics Association says tablet sales
alone are up 83%…and Inquirer Technology says they will
reach $30 billion.

So what do all of these major devices have in common and
why the heck am I telling you about it?

Consumers will — and already do — use them to consume a
massive amount of content, especially eBooks.  With Amazon
Kindle being *THE* main player and accessible on virtually
every device, we are seeing a boom unlike any other.

Think about it.

Amazon hit 100 million downloads in LESS than one year
since they unveiled their “KDP Select” free program. And
with a MAJOR flood of new devices hitting the market, those
numbers are only going to accelerate.

Whether you want to generate a side income with your hobby, generate
new leads, become a bestselling author, want to build your
coaching business, teach people how to grow bigger kale and tomatoes, sell genuine underwater basketweaving ebooks or anything
in between, you can (and should) use the Amazon channel.

With over 100,000,000 customer accounts on file (with
full credit cards), I’m sure you’d agree it would be
pretty beneficial if your could tap into this
distribution network.

When you buy your books with Amazon, you typically know what your getting yourself into and it works. The customer gets their book delivered and accessible from anywhere they happen to be on the globe.

Your whole digital library in your pocket, oh – and some print books now and then. Keepin’ it fresh, you know.

But digital books are here to stay and we can’t wait to see what happens next.

Sounds like a pretty sweet deal to me. 🙂

The indie publishing revolution has officially kicked into high gear and there is no signs of slowing down.

Join us in the days, weeks, months, and years to come on this incredible journey.
